If you opt to become a volunteer, we hope you:

• Help the Earth in many ways
• Work towards and receive your certificate of volunteering hours
• Help people and businesses reduce their expenses
• Communicate with people and businesses effectively
• Work with those around you to make the world a cleaner place

Minor ? (Under 18 year of age?): Your parent/guardian has to apply and have you volunteer with them.

A unique email address is required for each volunteer.

The volunteer application is fully online. No paper involved !

At this time, USA only and English only.

Volunteer application process

There are two steps to become a volunteer:

1. Order an application form. Soon after, you will receive the form via email.
2. Fill and e-sign the form. Soon after, you will receive an email informing you of your application status.

Note: If an adult parent/guardian is having thier minor volunteer with them under their responsibility, they will both sign the same agreement. If a guardian wants to volunteer with 2 minors, it takes 2 separate applications.

“Soon” is relative. This is currently a manual process.

Ordering an application form

We use eBay to sell an application form for a very small fee ($3 as of July ‘25). The fee keeps out bots and pays for eSign infrastructure. We currently have no recurring membership fees and hope to fund this via donations and stickers.

eBay order note-to-seller format

We need the legal names of the adult and minor and their (unique) email addresses via “add note to seller” on the order review page (or via a message-to-seller after the order, if you forgot). This is the format:

If adult volunteer only:
Name: John Doe

If minor with Adult volunteer:

After we receive your order, we will create ane email you an application form to those email addresses. An email from mail.boldsign.com goes to the adult, minor in sequence.

Filling and submitting application form

• Click the link in email
• After you fill in the fields, review and agree, you may eSign the document.
• Click on decline to sign if you disagree.
• We reserve the right to deny your application for any reason, without providing a detailed reason.

After inspecting your application, we may approve it.

If you are approved to become a volunteer

We will soon add you to the volunteers list and get you access to volunteer resources. You can then:

• Gain access to the volunteers section of the site
• Get a certificate that says you are volunteering.
• Order labels (optional)
• Print business cards (optional)
• Spread the message safely to people and businesses, while recording dates, time spent and potential impact.
• Order a volunteer hours certificate with the time you spent and the date range (if you have diligently kept those records.) The adult and minor can both get certificates.
