We use betterworld.org as our donations platform.
They choose a default donation amount. You can change it to any amount.
Also, betterworld.org will add two options:
- Cover Transaction costs (A small fee, to cover credit card/bank processing fees)
- Help Cover fundraising costs (A fee to cover their website, etc costs)
1 is a very small fee, but you can opt out by using the checkbox next to “Cover transaction costs”.
2 is a bit larger fee. But you can change the amount by clicking the ? next to “Help cover fundraising costs”.
